An Illinois manufacturer moving to the Milwaukee area now has a development site.
Yaskawa America Inc. has purchased a spot in the Franklin Business Park, where it will be relocating its North American headquarters.
The company currently has about 270 employees in Franklin, but the new spot will create about 700 more.
Newly filed deeds show Yaskawa spent more than $41 million for the properties in the business park, but it’s unclear when construction will begin.
