The winners of a recent business pitch competition In Sheboygan have been announced.
Accelerate Sheboygan County held its annual pitch competition earlier this week, giving out cash prizes to 1st place, 2nd place, and the people’s choice award as voted by those in attendance.
After numerous presentations, the judges selected Re-Specht Adventure as the contest’s winner, which received $2,000.
The night’s other big winner was Dream Catcher Energies, which not only took 2nd place, receiving $1,000, but they were also voted as the People’s Choice Award winner, taking home an extra $250 as well.
Don Hammond, Chair of the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation, was delighted with the winners’ pitches, saying, “This year’s competitors showcased the creativity and entrepreneurial drive that makes Sheboygan County such a dynamic place to live and do business.”
Both Jared Soto of Dream Catcher Energies and Hal Specht II of Re-Specht Adventure now advance to Green Bay to compete in the NEW Launch Alliance Regional Pitch Competition on December 3rd.
There, they will compete with other entrepreneurs from across Northeastern Wisconsin with even more cash incentives on the line.
