There are two Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (November 12th).
Up first is the Local Emergency Planning Committee, which will be in the Communications and Technology Building at 9:00 a.m.
After giving the public time to comment, the group will vote to approve the 2025 Facility Plan Updates, get an update on new Committee members, and elect a new vice-chair.
They will also discuss how the county responds to hazmat spills.
Then, at 4:30 p.m., the Public Works Committee will be in the Public Health Building, where the public will again be given time to comment.
The group will then get the latest on the courthouse windows and HVAC replacement project, as well as numerous other capital projects, before getting an update on cybersecurity.
The County Finance Director will also give a report on the Expo Special Revenue Fund.
These are the final Manitowoc County governmental meetings for the week.
