Students at Lakeland University are set to present a comedic take on the work of one of the most notorious playwrights in history.
Lakeland’s production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [Revised] [Again] will be performed four times between Thursday (November 13th) and Sunday (November 16th) on stage inside the Bradley Theater.
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday’s shows will begin at 7:00 p.m., while Sunday’s performance will start at 2:00 p.m.
The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [Revised] [Again] is described as, “a wildly entertaining comedy that fast-forwards through all of Shakespeare’s plays, histories, comedies and tragedies in a fast-paced, irreverent and hilarious romp.”
The university also notes that the shows will have a strobe warning with mildly gory content, adult language, and adult themes, so the recommended viewing age for those in the audience is 13 or older.
Tickets are now available for purchase and will cost $10 for adults, and $6 for those 60 years or older and non-Lakeland students under the age of 18.
