A new judge has been appointed for Outagamie County Circuit Court.
Governor Tony Evers announced that Whitney Healy will take the job in Branch 1 after Judge Mark McGinnis announced he will be resigning.
She’ll complete the current judges’ term, which ends in 2027.
Healy is a civil litigation attorney at Habush Habush and Rottier in Appleton and has represented plaintiffs who’ve been physically, emotionally, or financially harmed due to negligence or wrongdoing.
She’s also been active in several professional organizations, including the Outagamie County Bar Association, the Wisconsin Association for Justice, and the Legal Association for Women.
Healy said of her appointment, “I have had the privilege of representing individuals during some of life’s most challenging and traumatic moments. That work has shaped my deep respect for the responsibility of our justice system.”
She is also a graduate of Loras College and Valparaiso University School of Law.
