An animal shelter in Sheboygan will be celebrating veterans in the community all week.
In honor of Veterans Day today (November 11th), the Humane Society of Sheboygan County will be waiving adoption fees for cats for vets through Sunday (November 16th).
This special 100% discount on cat adoptions will be limited to one cat per person, unless adopting a boned pair.
In order to qualify for the discount, all veterans must show proof of veteran status when at the Humane Society.
When discussing the discount, the Humane Society stated, “We salute our veterans and hope this coming week brings many new beginnings for both pets and people.”
Veterans looking to take advantage can view adoptable pets online and apply by visiting adoptsheboygancounty.org/adopt.
Those looking to do so in person can stop by the Humane Society of Sheboygan County, located at 3209 North 21st Street in the City of Sheboygan.
