Local entrepreneurs will have the chance to pitch their ideas in Sheboygan tonight (November 11th).
Accelerate Sheboygan County will host its annual Sheboygan County AccelSC Pitch Competition at Jake’s, a Lakeland Community, tonight, at 5:30 p.m.
The night will open with 30 minutes of networking before the pitch competition officially kicks off at 6:00 p.m.
This annual event is aimed at helping area entrepreneurs looking to get their idea or business off the ground with cash prizes on the line.
The first-place winner will receive $2,000, the second-place winner will get $1,000, and the People’s Choice Award, voted on by those in attendance, will be awarded $250.
This competition is held in coordination with New North out of Green Bay, and the top two finishers tonight will advance to their regional Startup Pitch Competition in December.
Jake’s will also provide free hors d’oeuvres, beer, and soft drinks to all who attend.
