Local schools are inviting veterans from the community to be honored for their sacrifice.
Two Rivers High School will be hosting its Veterans’ Day celebration at 7:15 tomorrow morning, with an event that includes a breakfast for veterans and their family members who attend the school.
A ceremony will then be held at 8:15, followed by assemblies at Magee Elementary at 9:30, Koenig Elementary at 1:30, and L.B. Clarke Middle School at 2:45 p.m.
Meanwhile, Mishicot’s O.H. Schultz Elementary School will continue its tradition of honoring local veterans at 9:30 a.m.
All are welcome to join the students and staff in the gym for the popular program.
Then, on November 12th, Monroe Elementary will be hosting its second annual Honor Walk Parade through the halls of the school at 2:30 p.m.
All veterans, regardless of affiliation with the school, are invited to participate in the parade, which will be followed by a short assembly.
