
A body was discovered inside a burning vehicle in Green Bay late last week.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department reports that fire crews, along with officers from the Green Bay Police Department, responded to a report of a car on fire early Friday afternoon.
They arrived at North Danz Avenue near East Shore Drive and I-43 to find a vehicle completely engulfed in flames.
Fire teams suppressed the blaze, after which the body of a yet unidentified individual was found inside the car.
The cause of death and the cause of the fire are not yet known, as the incident is still under investigation.
The Wisconsin State Fire Marshal was also called in to assist.
