Felician Village in Manitowoc is getting ready for another free public workshop.
The next workshop on November 18th will be entitled “Balancing Risk & Independence in Dementia Care,” and will feature Sheri Fairman, MSW, CMD CP, of Dementia Care Solutions, LLC.
She will explore some common questions caregivers ask themselves: When should my loved one stop driving? How do I keep them from leaving home unexpectedly? When is it time to consider a care facility?
Through open discussion and practical insights, this workshop will focus on how to maintain independence while evaluating risk in daily life for people living with dementia.
Attendees will gain tools and confidence to support their loved ones while preserving dignity and safety.
