A home in Howard was destroyed by a fire early yesterday morning.
The Howard Fire Department responded to the 1300 block of Rockwell Road at around 2:30 a.m., where they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the residence.
After an hour of battling the flames, the fire was brought under control; however, the home was completely destroyed.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
The Howard Fire Department has not confirmed if there were any injuries or deaths in the situation, nor the estimated cost of the damage, but a neighboring residence was also moderately damaged.
