The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is remembering one of the most famous shipwrecks in the Great Lakes.
At tonight’s (November 6th) Think and Drink, they will be honoring the 50th anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald at 6:30 p.m. Rick Mixter, an award-winning Great Lakes researcher, will join the group to discuss November storms.
Attendees can explore memorabilia and historic photos of the ship known as “Big Fitz.”
Mixter will also share research and survivor interviews, and discuss diving on famous wrecks.
The cocktail for this Think and Drink is appropriately named November Fog. The museum doors will open at 6:00 p.m.
