A teacher’s aide at a school in Fond du Lac County is in custody for the sexual assault of a child.
WBAY reports that the aide, a 41-year-old woman, worked at Faith Lutheran School in the City of Fond du Lac.
The unnamed woman was arrested yesterday (November 5th) after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children sparked an investigation that named her as the suspect.
The investigation into these allegations is being led by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, which found probable cause to apprehend the 41-year-old on multiple counts of Sexual Assault of a Child.
However, the Sheriff’s Office did clarify that the victim is not a student at Faith Lutheran School.
At this time, no additional information regarding the case and the tip that led to the teacher’s aide’s arrest is available, but may be released if and when charges are filed in Fond du Lac County.
