Cross Country runners from Roncalli and Manitowoc Lincoln were officially the fastest in Manitowoc County.
According to the Cumulative Manitowoc County Cross Country Honor Roll, put together by Manitowoc Lutheran Cross Country Coach Abbey Bubolz, Roncalli Junior Elliot Onesti had the fastest time of the season, with a 16:12 at Meadow Links on October 25th.
He outpaces Kiel Senior Sam Keuler’s fastest time by 26 seconds, and Manitowoc Lincoln Senior Lucas Gallegos by 41 seconds.
As for the girls, Lincoln Junior Natalie Portman’s 18:39, also on October 25th at Meadow Links, was not only the sub 19:00 time submitted by a girl this season, it also broke the school record, which she had set earlier in the season.
Two Rivers Sophomore Allie Gallagher was second among the girls, 39 seconds behind Portmann, while Reedsville Senior Allena O’Connell was third with a 19:22.
