A fire in a detached garage in Manitowoc was put out quickly by firefighters.
Manitowoc Fire and Rescue were called to the working structure fire in the area behind Late’s Restaurant in the 1900 block of S. 10th Street at 1:30 p.m. yesterday (November 4th).
Upon arrival, fire crews found the fire with smoke and flames visible in the 2-car detached garage off the alleyway.
The blaze was extinguished within ten minutes while two other fire trucks assisted with overhaul.
Firefighters left after about an hour with no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and the extent of damage it caused is yet unknown.
