
The City of Sheboygan has made history, appointing its first-ever female City Attorney.
Liz Majerus was appointed to the position yesterday, however, she has several years of experience working with municipalities.
She began working with the city in 2017 in a part-time role as municipal prosecutor before accepting a full-time position in the City of Manitowoc City Attorney’s Office.
Attorney Majerus returned to the City of Sheboygan in 2022 and has been working in a full-time capacity as the Deputy City Attorney.
City Administrator Casey Bradley said of the appointment, “Attorney Majerus brings immense legal expertise and a deep commitment to public service for the City of Sheboygan. We are grateful to her dedicated service in her tenure at the City and look forward to her valuable legal guidance to council, administration, and all city departments.”
