The Eastern Wisconsin Conference has released its all-conference football honors list.
The Co-Conference Champion Roncalli Jets had five members of its potent offense receive first team honors, including Dominic Thiele, Sawyer Van Drisse, Kannon Kinsella, Carter Braun, and Hayden Dewane, while Dominik Frozena, Van Drisse, and Kinsella all made the 1st Team All-Conference Defensive squad.
Kinsella was also named the Defensive Player of the Year for the EWC.
Brillion, the other Co-Champs, had Heath Cousin, Landon Mathes, and Dominic Paulow make 1st Team Offense, while Heath Cousin, Hayden Cousin, Mathes, and Diego Nolasco earned 1st Team Defensive honors.
2nd Team honors for the Lions include Kelvin Gilbertson on Offense and Joseph Shimek on defense, while the Jets’ Frozena made the offensive list and Dominic Thiele and Hayden Dewane earned 2nd Team Defensive honors.
Valders also had some second-teamers, including Brayden Lenz and Peter Cigler on both sides of the ball, as well as Brody Mueller on defense. Kiel’s Mason Schaefer also earned 2nd team honors, while Jaremiah Fankhauser did so on offense and defense.
Honorable mention status went to Roncalli’s Donovan Cowley, Jake Hillmer, Donnie La Violette, John Vadney, Chase Crees, Cody Staudinger, and Jesus Gomez, along with Brillion’s Joseph Shimek and Sammy Nolasco.
Also named honorable mention from Kiel were Connor Bonde, Blake Gardner, and Logan Mueller, and Valders’ Kale Zimmerman and John Vetting.
