
There are five Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (November 4th).
Up first is the Veteran Service Commission, which will be in the lower level of the Heritage Center at 9:30 a.m.
They will discuss a request to repair the chimney and furnace, estimated to cost over $9,600.
Then, at 4:30 p.m., the Board of Health will convene in the same space to discuss a 2025 Routine Immunization Through Community Engagement (RICE) grant opportunity.
At 4:45 p.m., the Personnel Committee will be in the Education Room in the Heritage Center, where they will discuss the Court Commissioner–Register in Probate position and several proposed changes to the Employee Policy Manual.
These include the sections on nepotism, uniform allowance, and premium pay.
They will also discuss the County Executive’s salary and performance reviews.
The Finance Committee is also slated to meet in the Education Room at 5:15 p.m., where they will vote to adopt the 2026 budget and property tax levy.
Closing out the day will be the County Board of Supervisors, which will be in the board room at 6:00 p.m.
After accepting appointments to various committees, the Board will also vote on the 2026 budget.
