A Wisconsin man is awaiting sentencing for the death of a retired priest in Wauwatosa last year.
Clay Schueffner was found guilty yesterday of negligent operation of a vehicle in connection with David Gau’s death in February 2024.
The 93-year-old was crossing a street in Wauwatosa when Gau hit him with his vehicle.
Investigators found Gau had been using social media just before the collision occurred on Wisconsin Avenue.
He’s scheduled to be sentenced in January.
