An Eau Claire man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage runaway will make his first court appearance today.
Police say that 38-year-old Jeremiah Richardson offered food and shelter to the 15-year-old but instead nailed a door shut to prevent her from leaving, assaulted her, and denied her food for days.
Charges against Richardson include sexual assault and false imprisonment of a minor.
