
The City of Sheboygan is planning to welcome cruise ships to its waterfront next year.
The City’s Director of Planning and Development, Taylor Zeinert, and Shelly Harms, VP of Marketing and Public Relations at Visit Sheboygan, have announced that Sheboygan has been picked as a stop by American Cruise Lines.
Sheboygan will be the newest location added to the cruise lines’ Great Lakes tour package.
Excited to see the City added to the Great Lakes tour, Zeinert said, “This is another great example of Sheboygan’s beautiful waterfront and marina being one of the City’s greatest assets, and we are pleased to welcome American Cruise Line and their guests to Sheboygan.”
While Amy Wilson, President and CEO of Visit Sheboygan, stated, “Cruise ships are an important part of the Great Lakes tourism economy contributing an estimated $300 million in economic impact to the region. We’re very excited to welcome American Cruise Lines.”
Currently, the cruise line is expected to make stops in the “Malibu of the Midwest on June 25th, July 2nd, August 2nd, and August 9th.
