The Portage County Sheriff’s Office was quick to respond on Saturday to reports that a man was making potential threats targeting a religious organization.
The situation was brought to the attention of law enforcement by the Veterans Crisis Line.
Deputies tracked down the 49-year-old suspect and took him into custody.
The man was taken to a medical facility for further care.
The Sheriff’s Office said there is no current danger to the public and will be releasing more information later today.
