The Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra is looking to find its next executive director.
In an announcement through the Chamber of Manitowoc County, the executive director will be responsible for all aspects of operating, including fundraising, marketing, administration, and communications, with a specific focus on fundraising and marketing.
That will include leading and assisting the Board of Directors and serving as a resource for activities to raise funds for the symphony.
MSO’s next leader will also prepare and submit grant applications to corporations, foundations, and government agencies that provide arts funding; explore research grant opportunities; and write reports and background materials to support each application.
The Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra did not say how long they will be taking applications.
Peggy Pitz has served as the executive director since 2014.
