There is another busy week on tap this week, with multiple governmental meetings on the calendar.
Manitowoc County has eleven meetings scheduled for the week, including five on Tuesday. Those include the Veteran Service Commission at 9:30 a.m., the Board of Health at 4:30 p.m., the Personnel Committee at 4:45 p.m., the Finance Committee at 5:15 p.m., and the County Board of Supervisors at 6:00 p.m., all in the Heritage Center. The Transportation Coordinating Committee will also be in the Heritage Center at 1:00 Wednesday afternoon, while the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council will be in the Communications and Technology Building at 4:45 p.m. The Expo-Ice Center Board has two sub-committee meetings on tap ahead of their full board meeting, all in the Expo Office. Closing out the week will be the Joint Dispatch Board, which will be in the Communications and Technology Building at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
In the City of Manitowoc, there are seven meetings on tap, including three on both Tuesday and Wednesday. The Room Tax Commission will be first, on Tuesday in the Council Chambers at 4:30 p.m. Then, at 5:00, Mayor Justin Nickels will present the 2026 city budget, also in the Council Chambers, and the Finance Committee will discuss it at 5:30. Wednesday’s meetings include the Horizon Blends Pellets LLC Board meeting at the MPU Offices at 8:30 a.m., The Rahr-West Art Museum Board at 3:00 p.m. at the Museum, and the Public Infrastructure Committee meeting at 5:30 in City Hall. Closing out the week in the Clipper City will be the Crime Prevention Committee, which will meet in the Public Safety Building at 6:30 p.m.
There are only four meetings this week in the City of Two Rivers, with the Committee on Aging kicking off the week at 8:30 a.m. The City Council will be in the Council Chambers at 6:00 that same day. Then, on Wednesday, the Public Works Committee will convene at 5:15 p.m., and closing out the week will be a joint meeting of the Personnel and Finance Committee and Public Utilities Committee at 6:00 on Thursday.
