A portion of a street on Manitowoc’s north side will be closed starting today (October 29th).
Northbound Johnston Drive between E. Magnolia Avenue and E. Cedar Avenue will not be opened to road traffic until November 12th, as city crews work on utilities in the area as part of the redevelopment of the former mall properties.
Northbound traffic on Johnston will be detoured to East Reed Avenue, then to Memorial Drive, and then to E. Magnolia Avenue and Holly Drive.
Traffic will then be moved to East Cedar Avenue and then back to Johnston.
Southbound traffic should be able to travel without incident.
