Authorities in Green Bay are investigating after a shots fired incident over the weekend.
The Green Bay Police Department was called to the 1700 block of Western Avenue yesterday (October 26th) just before noon after gunfire was heard in the area.
Upon arrival, officers learned from witnesses that shots were exchanged between two individuals.
One of these individuals was said to be on foot while the other was inside a vehicle.
However, both people involved in the incident fled the scene before police arrived.
No injuries were reported during the incident, but evidence gathered on scene confirmed gunshots were fired in the area.
At this time, the investigation into the shots fired situation remains open and ongoing.
