Authorities have identified the suspect involved in Friday’s shooting in Grafton as Guy Paider.
Investigators say Paider opened fire on a woman who was heard screaming for help inside a home near County Highway C and Lake Shore Road.
The victim was airlifted by Flight for Life to a hospital, where she remains in stable condition.
Officials have not yet confirmed the relationship between Paider and the woman.
Records show Paider previously served as a town representative on the Public Safety Committee Board from April to September of last year.
