The Chamber Manitowoc County wants to help area businesses improve their safety.
The 2025 Safety, Health, and Wellness Symposium, hosted by the Chamber, will take place on Thursday, November 6th, from 7:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Orion Energy Systems on Woodland Drive in Manitowoc.
The event includes breakfast and a presentation on creating a safety culture in an industry, along with guest speakers.
They include Lakeside Foods Environmental and Safety Manager Dan Allen and Director of Safety and Occupational Health for Mercury Marine Troy Munson.
Allen is spearheading an initiative to achieve OSHA’s Voluntary Production Program Star Certification, while Munson will talk about what he does during the day.
There will also be a panel discussion with Munson and Allen, along with Pete Dewar of M3 Insurance and Corey Evenson with Eck Industries.
It costs $25 for chamber members, while non-chamber members will have to pay $50.
