Residents in Two Rivers looking to have some extra foliage on their roadside terrace may be in luck.
The Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Department has announced that it will be offering a limited number of trees for terrace planting across the city.
Terrace trees offer many benefits, including a reduction in stormwater runoff while improving local drainage and air quality, enhancing property values, supporting wildlife and biodiversity, and more.
Terrace planting will be subject to approval, and Diggers Hotline will be utilized to mark utilities, while terraces less than three feet wide will not be eligible.
Anyone interested in planting a tree on their terrace in Two Rivers is encouraged to contact Ashley with the Parks and Recreation Department by calling 920-793-5592.
