Ahead of opening day next month, changes have been announced at the Sheboygan County Warming Center.
The Warming Center will officially open its doors for the 2025-2026 season on November 10th at St. Luke Methodist Church on Ontario Avenue.
In recent years, the Warming Center has taken over operations of the Herb Kohler and Natalie Black Community Café, where they provide vulnerable Sheboyganites with free meals.
To reflect this new chapter, the Sheboygan County Warming Center has launched a new logo, tying in the work done on both sides.
When discussing the new look design, the Warming Center stated, “This design brings together the spirit of the Community Cafe and the mission of the Sheboygan County Warming Center, paving the way for the future of the SCWC as we continue to serve Sheboygan County with compassion and care.”
Additionally, the Warming Center has announced that Lyric Glynn, formerly of Lakeshore CAP, has joined their team ahead of the new season.
Glynn will bring experience and an expertise in data and advocacy that will further help the Warming Center tell the story of Homelessness in the Sheboygan community.
