
The defending Division Four State Girls’ volleyball champion Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers begin their trek back to the Resch Center tonight, but this time it’s in Division Three.
The Lancers captured both the Big East Conference regular season and conference tournament titles while compiling a record of 29-9.
They will host the Kewaunee Storm in a WIAA Division Three Regional Semi-final at Lancer Circle.
The Lancers had a first-round bye as the top seed in their bracket while Kewaunee defeated Packerland Conference rival Sturgeon Bay in four Sets Tuesday night to advance.
In other Division Three matchups, Valders hosts Southern Door, Kiel is home for Wrightstown, Chilton heads to Brillion, Cedar Grove/ Belgium is at Mayville, and Oostburg hosts the University School of Milwaukee.
In Division One, Manitowoc Lincoln hosts the Neenah Rockets at JFK.
The winner travels to top-seed Menominee Falls on Saturday.
Elsewhere, Sheboygan North travels to Milwaukee to battle Hamilton, De Pere hosts Appleton West, West De Pere hosts Green Bay East, Green Bay Southwest heads to Hortonville, Green Bay Preble entertains Appleton North, Ashwaubenon hits the road to meet Pulaski, and Fond Du Lac hosts the Menasha Bluejays.
Division Four matches include Roncalli heading to Oshkosh to battle Lourdes Academy, Sheboygan Lutheran has a short bus ride to Kohler, Sheboygan Christian hosts Kenosha Christian Life, Kenosha St. Joe’s entertains Ozaukee, Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah has a long trip to Sevastopol and Hilbert heads south to pay at Montello.
In Division Two, Two Rivers travels to Appleton to play Fox Valley Lutheran, Denmark is at Freedom, Sheboygan Falls visits Kewaskum, Howards Grove hosts Campbellsport, Plymouth travels to Winneconne, Notre Dame is at Oconto Falls, and Luxemburg-Casco hosts the Seymour Thunder.
In Division Five, Green Bay NEW Lutheran hosts Gresham.
All matches are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
