
There are three Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (October 23rd).
Up first is the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council’s Executive Committee, which will meet in the South Jury Room in the Courthouse at 12:15 p.m.
After hearing comments from the public, the group will get the latest on the Drug Court, the Manitowoc Youth Intervention Network, and the Access to Courts Committee.
They will also discuss a media request regarding bail and bond practices and their bylaws.
Then, at 4:15 p.m., the Human Services Board will convene in the Human Services Department Building, where they will also hear comments from the public.
Then, after reviewing opioid settlement-funded services, the group will review the financial projections for September and the 2026 Human Services budget.
The Public Safety and Finance Committees will also hold a joint meeting in the Communications & Technology Building at 5:30 p.m.
