It will be a busy day in the City of Manitowoc, as there are four meetings on the calendar.
Up first will be the Board of Public Works, which will be in the Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m.
They will look over change orders, pay estimates for various engineering and public works projects, and contractor payroll affidavits.
At the same time, the Transit Commission will be in the 1st Floor East Conference Room in City Hall, where they will hear input from the public.
The big items on the agenda are getting updates on staffing and route service.
Then, at 6:00 p.m., the Plan Commission will take over the Council Chambers, where they will hold a public hearing regarding the rezoning of a parcel of land on 1005 Memorial Drive from single-family to office residential, as submitted by the Lakeshore Community Foundation.
They will also discuss the rewriting of the section of the Municipal Code related to zoning.
Closing out the day will be the Manitowoc International Relations Association, which will be in the First Floor Conference Room at 6:30 p.m.
They will get a debrief on the visit from Manitowoc’s Sister City, Kamogawa Japan, before reviewing the 2026 budget.
These are the final meetings for the week in the Clipper City.
