
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office is shining a light on their new team members and those who received awards and promotions.
The Department welcomed two new corrections officers, Jessica Martell and Nick Gorman, as well as six new Patrol Deputies, Hayden Kunesh, Matt Hassemer, Tania Grobman, Brogan Tremel, Anthony Blish, and Kaden Hagenow.
Seven current Sheriff’s Office team members were also celebrated for their promotions, including Chief Deputy Jason Orth, Major Kevin Haese, Captain Landon Koenig, Captain Travis Aleff, Lieutenant Nick Spurney, Lieutenant Preston Orth, and Detective Rob Wandrie.
During the ceremony on October 16th, the Sheriff’s Office also awarded five Lifesaving Awards to Kyle Stotzheim, Chris Hemauer, Eddie Wick, Preston Orth, and Matt Schmaling, while Dakota Gamez received a Humanitarian Award.
The Department thanked “Judge Jerilyn Dietz for her time and continued involvement in helping make this ceremony special.”
