There are a pair of meetings scheduled for today (October 20th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Committee of the Whole will start off the evening in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m., where they will get an update from MPSD Superintendent Lee Thennes.
Then, at 6:30 p.m., the Common Council will take over the Chambers, where they will hold three public hearings.
The first is in regard to some objections to proposed assessments to property owners, while the other two are for conditional use permit requests.
The Council will also discuss applying for a pair of Brownfield Cleanup Grants for the River Point District and former Lakeshore Mall property, and the proposed reconstruction of Michigan Avenue between North 13th and 18th Streets.
The Council will also address the lidded trash and recycling container issue brought forth to the Public Infrastructure Committee.
