Bipartisan lawmakers in Wisconsin have introduced a resolution denouncing Russia.
This comes after the aggressor nation abducted nearly 20,000 Ukrainian children amid the ongoing conflict.
The resolution was introduced on Thursday and aligns with global concerns over the issue.
It comes as former President Trump prepares for talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
This follows a prior conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Lawmakers hope other states will follow Wisconsin’s lead.
