The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office has received a major donation following an annual memorial and fundraiser.
The Sheriff’s Office has announced that they have received funding thanks to the 3rd annual Jensen Horvat Memorial Ride and Fundraiser and the Horvat family, which was held in August.
Specifically, the Horvat family requested that these funds be put toward the county Drone Unit. Additional donations were to Mental Health America, the Town of Sheboygan Fire Department, and the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office Drone Unit.
Upon receiving the donation, Sheboygan’s Sheriff’s Office stated, “The Horvat Family recognizes the benefit of the Drone unit and the role the team plays in the health, safety, and wellness of the citizens of Sheboygan County.”
In the three years since hosting the memorial ride and fundraiser, the Horvat family has been able to honor Jensen’s memory, allowing him to help others in need, even in his absence.
The 4th annual Jensen Horvat Memorial Ride and Fundraiser has been scheduled to take place on August 15th, 2026.
