Registration is still open for an annual conference in Sheboygan County aimed at caregivers in the community.
The EMPOWER – 2025 Sheboygan County Caregiver Conference will be held on Monday (October 20th) from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The conference will be held at Sheboygan Lutheran High School and looks to educate on caregiving techniques, tools, and resources available in the area.
The event’s keynote speaker is slated to be Jody Krainer, the Dementia Clinic Network Manager for the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute.
She will discuss how to reimagine the family caregiving experience with a focus on caregiver burnout and how to minimize it when caring for a family member living with Alzheimer’s.
Admission to the Sheboygan County Caregiver Conference will cost $10 and cover the entire day of festivities and lunch that will be provided.
Any caregivers or loved ones in the area caring for older adults dealing with chronic conditions are encouraged to attend for a day of education with like-minded individuals.
Those looking to register for the conference can do so by visiting The EMPOWER – 2025 Sheboygan County Caregiver Conference Facebook event page.
