
Manitowoc Lutheran, the defending Division Four state girls’ volleyball champion, has the top seed in its Division Three regional bracket.
The tournament pairings, released by the WIAA, have the Lancers with a first-round bye, and they’ll play their first match on October 23rd where they will host the winner of a match between Kewaunee and Sturgeon Bay that will be played Tuesday, October 21s,t in Kewaunee.
Manitowoc Lincoln drew the eight-seed in Division One and will host Neenah on October 23rd.
The winner travels to play the top seed, Menominee Falls, on October 25th.
Roncalli has a six-seed in Division Four and hosts 11-seed Gibraltar on Tuesday with three-seed Lourdes Academy of Oshkosh to host the winner.
In Division Two, Two Rivers hosts Marinette in an eight-nine matchup Tuesday with the winner heading to Appleton to play top-seed Fox Valley Lutheran on October 23rd.
Elsewhere in Division Three, Valders is a two-seed and has a first-round bye.
The Vikings host Mishicot or Southern Door October 23rd.
Brillion is a three-seed with a first-round bye and hosts the New Holstein-Chilton winner on October 23rd.
Other D-3 matches that night have Kiel hosting Wrightstown, Oostburg hosting University School of Milwaukee, and Cedar Grove/Belgium traveling to Mayville.
Division Four matches to be played October 21st: Hilbert is at Reedsville, Sheboygan Lutheran hosts Random Lake, Algoma travels to Omro, and Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah is home for Princeton/Green Lake. Kohler, Sheboygan Christian, and Sevastopol have first-round byes.
In Division Two on October 21st, Notre Dame hosts Green Bay West, Sheboygan Falls hosts North Fond Du Lac, Sheboygan South ventures to Campbellsport, and Plymouth hosts Oshkosh North.
Denmark, Howards Grove, and Luxemburg/Casco open on October 23rd.
Division One matches begin on October 23rd, and Green Bay NEW Lutheran opens play on October 23rd as a two-seed in Division Five.
