Sheboygan’s Mead Public Library is expanding some services after its early success.
The library has shared that they have expanded their 24/7 Outdoor Holds Pickup kiosk following a growing demand for the quick and convenient service.
With the expansion, the outdoor kiosk was closed yesterday (October 15th), allowing crews to add additional lockers to the space.
This is a welcome addition for the library, as Cheryl Nessman, Mead’s Support Services Manager, noted earlier in the year that the outdoor lockers rarely had availability, meaning they are occupied nearly every day.
24/7 pick-up services are expected to be back up and running today (October 16th); however, the library will provide additional updates in the event of a delay.
The expansion of these services was made possible by the Mead Library Foundation, with funding coming entirely from private donations.
Updates on the 24/7 Outdoor Holds Pickup expansion can be found by visiting the Mead Public Library Facebook page.
