A former Manitowoc County board member from Mishicot has passed away.
The obituary for Charles “Chuck” Hoffman says he passed away last Saturday (October 11th), suddenly at his residence at the age of 76.
Hoffman was born in Two Rivers but held many jobs in his time, including as the Buildings and Grounds Supervisor for the Mishicot Public School District until his retirement.
He was also a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus and an active member of the Two Rivers Fish and Game Association.
He served Manitowoc County District 20 during his time as a county board supervisor, representing the area from 2010 to 2020.
But above all, Hoffman’s obituary says he cherished the time spent with his family and was always willing to help anyone in need.
Funeral services for Hoffman will take place this Saturday (October 18th) at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot.
There will be a visitation tomorrow (October 17th) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Manitowoc County Executive Bob Ziegelbauer says flags will fly at half-staff in the county on the day of his funeral.
