Eastern Wisconsin will not have the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin this year.
Despite having the #1 seed, Carbliss was knocked out of the annual competition put on by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce and Johnson Financial Group. Also making the round of eight was Sargento’s Natural American Sliced Cheese, but it too didn’t receive enough votes to make the final four.
The products making the cut were the Search and Rescue 1000 Island Airboat made in Madison, the Comfort Custom Seating System created by Permobil in New Berlin, Kikkoman Soy Sauce out of Walworth, and Extrication Tools made by TNT Rescue Systems based in Hartland.
The final round of voting in the 10th Annual Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin begins today at MadeInWis.com and will run through noon on October 23rd.
The winner will be crowned at WMC’s Business Day event in Madison that same day.
