
A barn in Sheboygan County has been deemed a total loss after a fire over the weekend.
The Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center received a call on Sunday (October 12th) just after 10:30 p.m. reporting a barn fire in the 2200 block of County Road A in the Town of Scott.
Fire crews from numerous agencies arrived on scene to find the barn completely engulfed in flames.
The barn is considered a complete loss; however, it only contained hay, so no injuries were reported to farm workers or animals.
At this time, the cause of the fire remains undetermined and under investigation.
Agencies responding to the blaze included the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, Beechwood Fire Department, Silver Creek Fire Department, Cascade Fire Department, Random Lake Fire Department, Waldo Fire Department, Town of Scott First Responders, Kewaskum Fire Department, Campbellsport Fire Department, Boltonville Fire Department, Random Lake Ambulance, Plymouth Utilities, and K & D Excavating.
