There are three Manitowoc County meetings scheduled for today (October 14th).
The Board of Adjustment will be in the County Office Complex at 9:30 a.m., where they will review five conditional use permit requests submitted by property owners in the Towns of Manitowoc, Manitowoc Rapids, Cooperstown, Gibson, and Two Rivers.
At the same time, the Veteran Service Committee will be in the Heritage Center, where they will review applications for assistance received since their last meeting.
Closing out the day will be the Highway Committee, which will gather in the Highway Department Building at 4:00 p.m.
After hearing comments from the public, the group will discuss the updated high-risk rural road program and a request for a land sale at Yanda Pit.
The group will then review the proposed 2026 budget before reviewing their plans for fall safety day.
