Art and wine lovers will have the chance to enjoy both in a unique setting in Sheboygan later this week.
The John Michael Kohler Arts Center will be hosting the Art & Wine Pairing on Thursday (October 16th) at the Art Preserve on Lower Falls Road.
The sip and savor event will feature wines from Ripon’s Vines & Rushes Winery and be broken into three, 45-minute sessions, starting at 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m.
Each pour of wine to be served was thoughtfully picked to be matched with the artwork of the late folk artist Nick Engelbert that will be displayed throughout the preserve.
During each session, Vines & Rushes owner Ryan Prellwitz will lead an informative discussion on the wines served and why they were picked to be served alongside the work of Engelbert, which has been described as whimsical.
Tickets to one of the three sessions are available for purchase and will cost $35 for members of the arts center and $45 for non-members.
Those interested in buying tickets can do so online by visiting jmkac.org.
