Two products made in Sheboygan County remain in the running to be named the “Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin.”
Carbliss, which is the #1 seed in the tournament, and Sargento’s Natural American Sliced Cheese, the #11 seed, made it through the first round of voting and are now in the final eight.
Both products, which are made in Plymouth, have some stiff competition, including the #3 seeded Search and Rescue 1000 Island Airboat, the 5th seeded Comfort Custom Seating System made by Permobil, and the #7 seeded Maple Shot 10 pack carton crafted by The Maple Dude in Granton.
Rounding out the final eight are Cruisers Yachts’ 38 VTR, Kikkoman Soy Sauce made in Walworth, and Extrication Tools made by TNT Rescue Systems in Hartland.
Eastern Wisconsin has had a great showing all ten years of the competition held by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce and Johnson Financial Group, with several local and area products bringing home the gold.
Voting for the round of eight ends on October 14th.
