Community tips are to thank for charges being handed out in a theft case in Neenah.
The Neenah Police Department has shared its thanks after receiving an outpouring of feedback from their followers on Facebook, who helped identify two individuals wanted for retail theft at Festival Foods.
In their original post, Neenah PD stated that two individuals, a middle-aged man and a middle-aged woman, entered the Festival Foods on Green Bay Road together.
The duo then split up, filled their carts up with groceries, exited the store individually without paying, and left the establishment in the same vehicle.
However, in the time since, the two have been identified by authorities, and charges of Retail Theft have been recommended to the Winnebago County District Attorney’s Office.
While identified by Neenah Police, the department has not shared the identities of the two suspects with the public at this time.
