Manitowoc Lincoln seniors Taylor Peterson and Jordin Popp will look to punch their ticket to next week’s WIAA State Individual Girls Tennis Tournament in Madison.
The Shipbuilders duo participates in a Division One sectional meet at the Fox Cities Racquet Club in Appleton, hosted by Oshkosh North High School.
Peterson will look to punch her fourth straight ticket to Madison, while Popp looks for her third straight trip to Madison, with the previous two coming in singles.
Meanwhile, senior Megan Lamers of Roncalli/Two Rivers is also playing in today’s sectional, looking to return to Madison, this time in singles.
She qualified for state last season in doubles with her sister, Madison.
