
It is a busy day for local high school athletes.
In boys soccer, Manitowoc Lincoln will look for their second conference win this week as they are in Green Bay to battle the Preble Hornets.
This is the Ships’ third match in four days as they defeated Ashwaubenon Tuesday night and lost to Ripon on Monday night.
They are 3 and 3 in the FRCC and 7 and 10 overall. The match is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Other scheduled matches include Roncalli hosting Random Lake, Kohler is at Kiel, Sheboygan North hosts Bay Port, Sheboygan Christian/Lutheran travels to New Holstein to meet New Holstein/Brillion, Howards Grove/Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah entertains St. Mary Catholic, and Oostburg visits Cedar Grove/Belgium.
Elsewhere, Green Bay Southwest hosts De Pere, Green Bay West travels to Little Chute, West De Pere is at Ashwaubenon, Pulaski is home for Notre Dame, Algoma is at Green Bay NEW Lutheran, Kewaunee hosts Peshtigo, Providence Academy of Green Bay hosts Sturgeon Bay, Clintonville hosts Gibraltar/ Sevastopol, and Wrightstown entertains the Seymour Thunder.
Meanwhile, several boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams converge on The Deer Run Golf Course in Brillion to participate in the Brillion Invitational. Schools scheduled to compete include Manitowoc Lincoln, Roncalli, Valders, Mishicot, and Howards Grove. Races are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
In girl’s swimming, Roncalli/Two Rivers hosts Kiel and Sheboygan Christian in Two Rivers, while Chilton/ Valders/Brillion entertains Kohler Triad and Berlin.
