Local artists are teaming up to raise money to help those experiencing homelessness in the Sheboygan Community.
Four Sheboygan artists will host the Warming Up to Art show and sale on November 1st and 2nd from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day inside the Open Space Gallery on Enterprise Drive.
Not only will this event give local artists exposure, but it will also serve as a collection of winter clothes for those in need.
Anyone in attendance is encouraged to bring in items such as winter jackets, warm socks, or winter hats, which will be donated to the Transitional Housing Unit of H.O.M.E., Inc.
However, the giving will not stop there, as a percentage of all art sales will also be donated to the Sheboygan County Food Bank.
The artists taking part in the Warming Up to Art event will include Rick Bruinooge, Darryl Gumm, Michael Huibregtse, and Libby Olbrantz. In addition to the art and donations, Jon Doll will provide musical entertainment throughout both days.
